A parent gave a child an unpronounceable name.
"Why did you give the child an unpronounceable name?" asked the Registrar of Births.
"We in the child's family love the child and will learn to pronounce the child's name," said the parent.
"But what about everyone else," said the Registrar, "everyone who is not in the child's family?"
"Anyone who loves the child will learn how to pronounce the child's name," said the parent.
"This way the child can distinguish between everyone and anyone, and the child's family can grow."

This is so true! I have a similar name situation..I love this!
My name is a universal sound; I have never been asked how to pronounce it. That must be why I am so easily loved and so quickly forgotten...
I too have had people struggle with my name, never understanding their fear of pronouncing it. So I have decided to populate the world with more Iannuccilli's...5 children, 3 boys...and now 9 grandchildren...3 more Iannuccilli's
Thanks for sharing this.
